Fundraising

Please consider supporting MVFD by responding with a donation to our annual fund raising letter.

All donations go directly to MVFD, no middle men and no fund raising companies.
The donationas from the fundraising letter and our raffle in the fall are the only mailings we send for fundraising.

Any other donation requests are not sanctioned by the MVFD.

Thanks for your support.

The Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department is happy to accept donations throughout the year.

However, we distribute a letter campaign letter annually in February; and our annual raffle is held every October in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week.

Both events are distributed by U.S. mail.
We do not solicit contributions by phone or online, nor do we use third party to solicit donations.

100% of all donations benefit the MVFD. All donations to the MVFD should be directed to MVFD Headquarters at the address below.

A Message from Chief Kales . . . . .

When you needed help we responded … over 1200 times last year, now Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department needs YOUR help.

Since 1941 the MVFD has proudly served and protected the Town of Middlebury and with your continued support we not only train on the latest and greatest technology, we also support local organizations.

Our non-profit organization operates strictly on fundraising and donations. The funds are used for Firefighter Training and Uniforms, Children’s Annual Halloween Costume Party, Region 15 scholarships, poster contests awards, Fire Department Open House during fire prevention week, and various other events and activities.

Please know that all donations are tax deductible and benefit the Fire Department 100%.  Donations may be mailed to or dropped off at main firehouse at the address below.

Last year’s 75th year celebration was a huge success and we than you for your support.

We are currently recruiting for Volunteer Firefighters , EMTs, Ladies Auxiliary, Junior Firefighters. Click here if you are interested in joining us. Link.

Our mission is and continues to be to protect and preserve life and property in the Town of Middlebury.

Thank you for your support,
Brett Kales
